What is a vector file?
Question

Why Is My Printer Asking For A Vector File?
Answer
Printers will ask for a vector file to avoid resolution issues. Vector files are made using mathmatical shapes, with anchor points and connecting lines rather than pixels. If you enlarge a vector shape, it maintains it's clarity at any size. Whereas pixel-based files, such as photos start to get blurry when they surpass their original size. Most of our branding is created in a industry standard vector-based program called Adobe Illustrator. If you request the vector files (rather than a high resolution pdf), we are happy to provide them for your printer.
